The company I work for is currently retrofitting some old fluorescent fixtures. The ballast we are removing are 1961 2 lamp 277vac Advance Ballast for T12 F40's. These ballasts have cloth insulated wires. My crew had some concerns that the insulation may be asbestos. Could you please tell us if Advance Transformer Co. has used asbestos insulated wires in the past.
